Maria Skłodowska-Curie Actions
Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies at UC (CEIS20-UC) welcomes candidates for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – 2024, individual postdoctoral fellowship call - one of the most prestigious and competitive research fellowship programs awarded in Europe. MSCA postdoctoral fellowships are meant to reinforce the creative and innovative potential of PhD researchers who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.
Two rules apply:
A) Mobility rule: the candidate should not have resided in Portugal for over 12 months within the last 36 months;
B) PhD reward date: the candidate obtained the PhD qualification less than 8 years ago (usual exceptions such as the documented longterm leaves or work outside the academia apply).
The application is submitted together by the candidate with an ambitious and innovative research proposal and by the host organization from the academic and/or non-academic sectors. We welcome expressions of interests with projects that fall within the scope of activities of the CEIS20-UC research groups.
Applications are open to outstanding researchers of any nationality in one of the following thematic lines:
- Interdisciplinary knowledge heterogeneities
- Dynamics of inequalities, political shifts and democracies
- Changing environments, sustainability and evolution

- Digital shifts, ethical and knowledge promoting societies
