Library

Created in 1911, the Coimbra Faculty of Law Library has been considered to be the fifth best legal library worldwide.

Here you can find, non only its general collections but also special ones that belonged to some of the most remarkable professors and jurists from the Faculty of Law: Alberto dos Reis, Beleza dos Santos, Paulo Merêa, Eduardo Correia, Ferrer Correia, Orlando de Carvalho.

A new venue, designed by Architect Siza Vieira, will serve to harbour, conserve and disseminate the rich bibliographic resources that presently fills no less over 7 km of shelves.
